Why Latin-American markets? To answer this question is convenient to point out that investments of 1.27 Trillion US$ from now up to 2030 are seriously considered by the governments of the region. As a platform for investment, Latin America has established itself as one of the most attractive areas of the developing world, with 72 thousand million dollars attracted in 2006; higher than China with 69 thousand million. Although the region’s share of global flows of FDI fell by 8% compared with the previous year, a process of stabilization of these flows in the region can be seen.
